Thank you for your interest in Hannover Fairs International GmbH (further mentioned as “Hannover Fairs” or the “Company”), our services and the website (further mentioned as “Site”) owned by Hannover Fairs. Before proceeding with the navigation through our Site, we invite you to read the general terms and conditions of use of the same (“Conditions of Use”), the policy concerning the processing of personal data (“Privacy Policy”) and the other provisions contained in the Site Legal Notice. For any need, you can contact the Italian office of Hannover Fairs at the addresses indicated in the “Contact” section of the Website.

  • General information.This website (further mentioned as the “Site”) is owned by Hannover Fairs International GmbH (as a sole shareholder), with a registered office in Hannover (Germany), Messegelände, VAT No.: DE811316518, Commercial Register of the Court of Hannover (Handelsregister des Amtsgerichts Hannover): HRB 1975, and a Swiss office.
  • Use of the site and acceptance of the conditions of use. The access and use of the Site require the knowledge and approval of these Terms and Conditions by each visitor or user (further mentioned as “User”). By accessing and using the Site, the User confirms that he knows and fully accepts the Terms of Use.
  • Access. Access to the Site is allowed to adult Users and minors provided that navigation and use would take place together with parents, guardians or adult Users who show to have a full understanding of it and can use the relative contents safely. The access and use of the Site are not permitted if they are prohibited under the legal provisions in force in the User’s country of residence.
  • Access to restricted areas and subscription to specific services. Where provided, access to restricted areas of the Site, subscription to specific services (such as newsletters or circulars) and participation in commercial initiatives that may be promoted will be reserved for Adult Users.
  • Site Registration. Should the Site provide for the possibility of registering in restricted areas or subscribing to various services (such as newsletter services), the User may be asked to provide personal information that can provide identification, such as name, address, e-mail, mobile phone number, and date of birth. In this case, the User will be obliged to report, under their responsibility, truthful and complete information and data which will be treated and/or used in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy and/or the conditions of access to the service in question.
  • Update and changes. Hannover Fairs reserves the right to update and/or modify, at any time and at its discretion, the contents of the Site, the Terms of Use as well as the terms and conditions provided in other sections of the Site itself. Before each access or use of the Site, the User is required to consult the Terms of Use to be understood as applicable from time to time in the updated version in force on the date of access to the Site.
  • Product information. The Site contains purely illustrative and indicative information concerning the products, services or brands referred to therein. The Site is updated with the utmost diligence. Hannover Fairs is exempt from any liability in any case excluded if the information on the Site is incomplete, or contains errors or inaccuracies.
  • Products and Services. Hannover Fairs, in particular, does not offer any guarantee in relation to the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided concerning products, services, companies, and brands referred to and/or described on the Site. Claims for compensation for direct or indirect damages of any kind resulting from the use or misuse of contents of any kind on the Site, or from incorrect and incomplete information, are expressly excluded, insofar as no intentional or grossly negligent conduct can be proven by Hanover Fairs. In any case, the provisions of mandatory and applicable legal provisions remain valid in consideration of the nature, quality and destination of the products and services present or described for any purpose on the Site and of the purely informative purposes for which such products or services are illustrated.
  • Disclaimer in relation to the contents of the Site. Hannover Fairs disclaims – and must therefore consider itself expressly exempt – any liability deriving from access, navigation and use of the Site as well as from the use of the information and indications relating to the range of products and services present or described in any way and medium – also through presentations, images and audiovisual or multimedia contents – on the Site itself.
  • Disclaimer in relation to the functioning of the Site. Hannover Fairs is exempt from any liability for any damages that may arise to the User following access to the Site or for the inability to access the Site or for any damages that may derive from the downloading of material on the Site, including any damage to the User’s computer equipment deriving from Viruses.
  • Limitations in cases of exclusion of liability. The exclusion of liability of Hannover Fairs referred to in these Terms of Use must be understood in the broadest and most extensive sense but do not apply in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence of Hannover Fairs or in the event that the fact constitutes a breach of obligations resulting from public order rules.
  • Intellectual property rights in relation to the Site and its contents. Images, texts, drawings, graphic reproductions as well as sounds, musical works, audiovisual and/or multimedia contents present on the Site are or may be protected by copyright. The ownership of the aforementioned intellectual property rights belongs to Hannover Fairs and/or their respective owners. Trademarks and/or logos of products and services as well as advertising claims, slogans, domain names and, more generally, all distinctive, verbal and figurative signs reproduced on the Site by Hannover Fairs are the property of their respective owners. The contents of this Site – including graphics, design, images, audiovisual files and texts – may not be reproduced, duplicated, transmitted, published or used, in whole or in part, elsewhere and in any form or manner, without the express written consent of Hannover Fairs and/or their respective owners.
  • Restrictions. Also, in view of the above, all Users are expressly prohibited from modifying, copying, reproducing, distributing, transmitting or disseminating individual contents of the Site by any technological means (including texts, reviews, images, photos, sounds, music and sound compositions, video and multimedia content) or the Site itself in its entirety, profile, layout, design, configuration and organisation, without the explicit written authorisation of Hannover Fairs and/or the holders of intellectual property rights concerning the aforementioned contents. It is also prohibited for Users to copy programs or software used for the operation of the Site or to create programs and/or trace and use the source code of the aforementioned programs as well as, in general, to copy, transmit, share, modify, alter and disseminate the information codes present on the Site and in the hypertext links provided therein, where they configure works protected by copyright or under other profiles. Hannover Fairs – directly, through and/or in the interest of third parties – reserves the right to protect works, images, texts and contents in general protected by copyright and/or other intellectual property rights by any permitted means.
  • Publication of content on the Site by Users. The Site may, if appropriate, provide for the possibility for Users to publish on the Site – i.e. send, upload, display, communicate, publish and/or share in any form on the Site itself or on sub-sites, its sections or pages, including related ones – messages, opinions, reviews, photos, videos, audio recordings, sounds, music, texts, slogans and advertising claims, drawings, suggestions, ideas, names, voices, information and other contents, even of a creative nature.
  • Obligations of the User in relation to content published by the same. Where the publication on the Site, by Users, of contents of any kind as better specified in the preceding paragraph is permitted, the User will refrain from publishing content that is owned by third parties or that may be, in any form and for any reason, infringing on the rights of others (for example, infringing on image rights, privacy rights, publicity and/or economic use rights, copyrights and other intellectual or contractual property rights of third parties of which the User does not have legitimate availability on the basis of a valid and effective title). The User will also refrain from publishing on the Site, in any way and form, one or more contents that may a) be harmful to the privacy of others; b) be illegal, encourage the performance of dangerous, irresponsible, anti-social, illicit acts, contrary to public order or morality; c) be defamatory, discriminatory, offensive, obscene, harmful to religious sentiment; d) prove harmful and/or discriminatory with respect to gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or other; e) configure forms of hidden advertising or include unsolicited and/or unwanted commercial information or communications; f) be reflected in any way in illegal or unfairly competitive conduct; g) be detrimental to Hannover Fairs, the Site or other Users of the Site.
  • Viruses and Spyware The User will also refrain from introducing viruses, spyware or other harmful elements or components into the Site which may, even if only potentially, lead to a deterioration or alteration in the functioning and use of the Site or its temporary or permanent damage or, again, any prejudicial effect for Hannover Fairs or for other Users of the Site.
  • Responsibility of the User concerning the content published on the Site.The User assumes any responsibility concerning the contents published on the Site by himself (or by any other person who uses devices attributable to the User) as better detailed in the preceding paragraphs. As a result of the provisions herein, the User, thereby undertaking also for the fact of the third party pursuant to and for the purposes of article 1381 of the civil code, undertakes to indemnify and hold harmless the owner of the Site, Hannover Fairs and/or each of its employees, collaborators, partners or directors from any liability, damage or direct or indirect prejudicial effect deriving from the non-compliance with the obligations assumed pursuant to the preceding paragraph and/or as a result of the violation of the rights of others. In particular, the User undertakes to indemnify and hold harmless Hannover Fairs, as well as subjects connected to or controlled by it, its representatives, employees and any of its partners from: a) any obligation in compensation, including reasonable legal fees, that may derive from the contents transmitted or sent, from the use of the services by the User, from the connection to the services by the User, from a violation of the rules that regulate their use, from a breach of the rights of third parties; from any liability deriving from the publication, by the User, of any content that may contain acts of defamation, slander, omission, falsehood, obscene acts, pornographic acts, dangerous acts or acts harmful to the rights of others.
  • Refusal to publish. Without prejudice to the foregoing, Hannover Fairs reserves the right to refuse the publication of any content that may be proposed by the User, and this is at its absolute discretion and without prior notice or reasoning by Hannover Fairs.
  • Publication of content on the Site by Users. User consent and rights of Hannover Fairs. The User will grant Hannover Fairs a non-exclusive, irrevocable, universal, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use any content you upload to the Site, for any purpose permitted by law, on an ongoing basis. , without time or territorial limitation and free of charge. The license must be understood in the broadest and most extensive sense possible and includes, among other things, the right to publish, share (also through social networks), distribute, sub-license, delete, reproduce, copy, modify, adapt (also through the creation of derivative works), combine, synchronise, display, disseminate and publicly perform, without time or territorial limitations, the contents uploaded by the User or parts of them. To the extent necessary, the User grants Hannover Fairs any consent that may be necessary by virtue of any current and applicable provisions on copyright, and this with reference to any purpose and any use, including economic or commercial, that Hannover Fairs should decide to make content published by the User. As provided herein without any limitation or exclusion by Hannover Fairs and within the limits of what is permitted by the law in force and applicable from time to time.
  • Links to other websites. It is possible that, in the context of its navigation and use, the connection between the Site and other websites not managed by or in the interest of Hannover Fairs (“Third Party Websites”) would be permitted. In this case, the following provisions will apply.
  • Liability disclaimer of Hannover Fairs in relation to third-party websites. Hannover Fairs has no control over Third-Party Websites nor does it assume any responsibility concerning their functioning and/or concerning their respective contents, even when it is possible to access them directly or indirectly, for example through specific links from the Website. It is therefore understood that managers or owners of third-party websites will be, where appropriate, responsible for any illicit, incorrect or incomplete content and, in particular, for damages deriving from the use of such content and/or from browsing through the aforementioned third-party websites.
  • Safeguard clause. In the event that one or more articles, parts or provisions of these Terms of Use do not comply with the legal provisions in force and without any applicable exception, the content of the other parts of this document will remain unchanged, without compromising their validity.
  • Applicable law. Terms and conditions of use of the Site are and must be considered governed by Italian law in force and applicable from time to time.
