Today, this approach is changing. Thanks to the availability of sensors, IoT platforms and analytical algorithms, it is now possible to monitor the health of machinery and equipment in real time, intervening only when data indicates a genuine risk of failure.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>From Data to Decisions<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/initiatives\/advanced-manufacturing-and-value-chains\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>World Economic Forum<\/strong><\/a>, integrating digital technologies and artificial intelligence into industrial asset management can improve productivity by up to 20%, while reducing downtime and operating costs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mckinsey.com\/capabilities\/operations\/our-insights\/the-potential-of-predictive-maintenance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>McKinsey &amp; Company<\/strong><\/a> also highlights the potential of predictive maintenance programmes to reduce equipment failures by up to 70%, maintenance costs by 25% and unplanned downtime by up to 50%, thanks to the continuous analysis of equipment operating conditions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Value Lies Not in Predicting a Failure, but in Preventing It<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Predictive maintenance is not simply about collecting data. The real shift lies in the ability to turn information from vibration levels, temperature, energy consumption and machine performance into operational decisions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result? More reliable equipment, greater production uptime and more efficient use of resources. It is no surprise, therefore, that this technology is now central to industrial digitalisation strategies and major international events dedicated to automation and advanced manufacturing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The question, then, is not whether predictive maintenance will replace scheduled maintenance.
